Today's Gospel: Luke 10, 21-24
21 “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
22 In this passage, Jesus reveals that He and the Father are one in the Holy Spirit. We get a glimpse of the Holy Trinity and how the three divine persons are united in only one God.
23 “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. 24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
Jesus also gives praise to the Father, Who in His wisdom revealed the treasures of the Kingdom to the childlike. The only way to be saved and be able to spend eternity in Heaven is if we are humble and simple as children.
As Catholics, we are privileged because we were baptized and are members of the Body of Christ, His Church thru the Holy Eucharist.
