My grandad was an expert skater and taught my brother and me at an outdoor roller rink on Coney Island in New York. I loved to roller skate. As kids we also had the skates that clamped on to shoes as well. Such fun! As an adult I also got some roller blades and skated on those to teach my kids. 😇
