The point is that everyone with a soul has own a biological clock inside, well, if you are connected to the Light-DivineSpark/sun on the physical level here. Manifestation, for example - if you tell yourself a wake-up time before going to bed, you will wake exactly to minute - and you don't need an alarm clock or a clock.
Shifting the time back and forth by an hour throws off your biological clock and thus binds you to some degree (as ["their"] working slaves) to religious time and worship (wearing, watching, following) what the clock shows.
