Thinking about 'V for Vendetta' today.
What a path we have trod. A long and winding journey, filled with surprises, good and bad, pit falls, traps and moments of 'Aha!'.
A path that has made us use our long abandoned discernment. Given us time to practice and hone it - to a sharp edge.
This is our built in weapon. Evil cannot take it. So, it made us forget it, walled it up and let it languish for generations.
Our Excalibur in the stone.
We have now recalled our weapon.
Is the end of the path visible? Only our guides know that, because they have already walked the trail they lead us on.
Lord of the Rings contained a lot of walking - when riding a giant eagle could have accomplished the same end in an afternoon - without the suffering.
But, the land would never have rediscovered itself, its discernment, if the process had not been played out, and, evil would have reestablished itself quickly.
We are walking the path that is TRAINING us to win, and, remain the 'V'ictors
