Bathrooms and restrooms are two words that have been used interchangeably during the decades - especially after the invention of the automobile and road trips.
Although they are similar, they mean different things.
A 'restroom' is where you can take a break (i.e.

Ah... thanks, Yeah I have lived in the states on and off, and I know many houses there have showers no bath (including My Dads house) yet they still call it the bathroom😐, but I all ways thought it weird, thinking if ya need to use a toilet then why not ask where the toilet is..🤷♀️.. It's just the way my brain works...😜
