Yep that would be weird...We had those emergency sirens in So Cali where I grew up, I remember waaaaaay back in the 70's they would go off about twice a year...first couple times scared me but then it became like an Earthquake, never knew when it would happen, just rode it out..LOL

Double weird!!! I was in Hennepin County for a few years, I don't remember hearing them except when we were under tornado watch in 2009 and the tornado was 3 blocks over from our house... I did hear a siren then, but that was it. Crazy times Fren!
