When I mistakenly carry my phone into the bathroom, I hide it in a drawer…freaks me out thinking someone could watch me in the bathroom. 😖
Are laptops any better? What phone does VK use that cannot track his movements? I would like one.
I agree, all of this needs to be abolished.
VK: Every single one of you KNOW you are being tracked yet still carry the phone. Many can't even enter the bathroom without it.
The truth is convenience wins over privacy. Many of us haven't even held a map in over a decade.
What we do need:
-Internet Bill Of Rights (IBOR): To extend our constitutional rights online and protect digital assets.
-Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012: changed back to not allow funding to spread propaganda to the American people. All reporting changed in 2012.
-And whatever they are calling "The Patriot Act" these days abolished.

first off fk an iphone for privacy, that is a lie. May get more by jailbreaking but idk as i will not use apple anything.
second, i would suggest an android with a custom ROM. I do not trust Graphene OS but it is easy to use, I hear. there are several secure OS for phones.
anything connected to internet is vulnerable to this exploit so i always put a dab of black nail polish on all cameras and when possible i put phone in other room away from me, sometimes with some heavy metal playing to drown out what the mics pick up. faraday bags work but i believe the phones just record until they can get back online and send data anyway.
I imagine VK has a super swoopy home lab and several proxys set up. Think personal TOR network...
