The hands are always at 10 and 2. However, I’ve always looked at the 8 red minutes and wondered what they are for as well. Time will tell I guess.

Exactly! why only 8 red..??? and not all 9? what does that extra one say or not say..?? I tried tying it to drop 8 but doesn't make sense to this question so IDK...💁
