Pawnee- my Grandfather’s Grandma was 100% Pawnee and I grew up with my grandfather making Native Art like Kachina Dolls and Turquoise/Sterling jewelry… he taught me all about gems and crystals which is why I have a huge collection I started collecting when I was 4. It’s come full circle for me now because my job is working at a gold and silver shop and I manage the jewelry end of it…and my specialty being Native American Jewelry
Weird how that worked out….
My mom is going to pass on all my grandpas jewelry equipment and tumbler/rock polishing machine when I’m ready to start working on jewelry, at that level… the urge is getting very strong. ❤️
