These pics were posted by the Army Corps of Engineers Portland, Oregon. I was born and raised in Oregon and have never heard of the Cougar Dam. (or maybe I did and just forgot...lol.) What intrigued me about these pics...notice the Castle emblem next to the name Cougar Dam...on the dam. Why? Look at the surroundings. It just struck me as perhaps a perfect location/cover for nefarious underground activities? I don't know...maybe I'm getting to paranoid. But something is just niggling me about that crown mark on the dam.
