If true, then electromagnetic fields such as the one around the earth is "information". Though electromagnetic fields are radiation or invisible light, that light isnt information. I would also suspect that facts like knowing the sky is blue is also not light. So neither is true. This is an empty statement of pseudo enlightenment. How to brew beer is "information". Why not just truth? Information without truth does not provide "light". Aristotle said in the Nicomachean Ethics "there is one truth wherein all subordinate truths exist"... that is God and only he is light! Not information.
