This morning I picked up a couple of things at my local grocery store and when I was checking out, I was approached by a middle-aged gentleman wearing older clothes and a stained baseball cap. He asked me if I could spare a few bucks, so of course, I gave him some money.
When he thanked me and walked off, I felt a tap on my left shoulder, I looked over and this lady said "you know he will more than likely use that money for drugs or alcohol" I said " you may be right, but if he is lying that says something about his character, but hearing someone in need and choosing not to help when I am able to do so, says something about mine".
