There definitely were those who did know what they were doing.
One nurse told a friend of mine that she had only a few years before her retirement so she had to do what she was told. She definitely knew, as she shared the truth about the vax with this friend of mine, but her nursing job was to inject it and she did so, thousands of times.
She justified her actions by saying, when and if she got a chance,
"Are you sure you want to get this?"
I wonder how many people the witch saved by asking that question?
