The number 13 appears 13 times on the dollar bill:

- 13 palm leaves located at the eagle's headboard;
- 13 olive fruits located on a palm branch;
- 13 arrows in the eagle's paw;
- 13 stripes on the flag on the bird's breast;
- 13 stars above the head of the same eagle;
- 13-stepped pyramid;
- 13 letters in the words above the pyramid;
- 13 letters in the words above the eagle;
- 13 beads to the right and left of the "seal" (2 times 13 each).
- The shield of the eagle: it has 12 barely visible horizontal lines, but directly above it there is room for one more, missing 13 lines.
- In the center of the bill we can also see a large letter N, which is the thirteenth letter of the ancient Greek alphabet.
- A double pyramid in which you can find 13 vertices (8 at its bottom, as well as 5 in the eye-shaped pyramid at the top).

In the United States, the number 13 is treated with caution. For example, some hotels do not have a 13th floor for fear of Friday the 13th.
