So true. Jesus came as God in human form for the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of the Law. He died as the required sinless, perfect man ( perfect lamb) to free us from bondage to the law & provide us with direct access to Himself. The veil in the temple was torn from top to bottom, signififying no longer a separation & no longer going thru a priest. Jesus provided complete forgiveness of sins because He paid the full price of our debt. That debt ( wages/cost was death) Our sins are remembered no more. ( Prophesied in Jerimiah 32:34) Forgiveness was necessary so salvation could be offered to all who accept & choose to believe. We are saved by what Jesus did & offers. He offers us His Grace & Mercy as a free gift. All we need to do is recognize our need for a Savior, turn away from wickedness & believe. Then we recieve the restoration of our spiritual life. Made truly alive, pure, holy, righteous. A new creation. He did not come to start a religion. He came to give us LIFE.
