Classic Loser.
When he was 7, his family was kicked out of the house for non-payment.
When he was 9, his mother died. At 22, he managed to lose even a measly job as a delivery boy in a store. He wanted to go to law school, but he lacked an education. At age 23, he went into debt to become a partner in a small store.
When he was 26, his business partner died, leaving him with a huge debt that he had to pay off over many years. At 28, he asked his girlfriend, whom he had been dating for four years, to marry him, but she refused. At the age of 37, after his third attempt, he was elected to Congress, but two years later he was not re-elected. When he was 41, his four-year-old son died. At 45 he tried for the Senate and failed again.
And at age 51, he was elected President of the United States.
Yes, yes, the man's name was Abraham Lincoln.
