Hold on, everyone..
Remember "Tares always travel with the Wheat!" Tares, i.e. darnel looks exactly like wheat when it grows. Not until harvest can the difference be seen, it's separated from the wheat then it is burned!. (Matt 13)
I wrote about the Statue of Liberty on AU a great while ago. Look at the symbols that are on it. The broken chains at her feet symbolize the fact the US had ended slavery! The statue was done in the sculptor's fav neoclassical style.
Slavery's abolishment s the inspiration for the song, sung at Christmas; O Holy Night. "Truly He taught us to love one another. ...The Slave is our brother, and in His Name all oppression should cease!"
Both were created by Frenchmen celebrating the end of the horrendous institution of slavery! he E. Lazarus poem was added 17 years AFTER the statue gift. LEFT makes it's presence about Immigrants! But of course, the LEFTIST who are the TRUE RACISTS (!) manage to scrub that understanding from the symbology...!
