Update on my cataract surgery. On the 12th I had cataract surgery. There were complications. The lens was fused to the capsule in my eye. In 40 years of practice the surgeon has never seen this. He managed to get them apart without busting the capsule, Thank God! But I came out of surgery with my eye bleeding. I was given more eye drops to use. I also have glaucoma, so these were added to the two I already use. I've been going back for vision and pressure checks every few days since. My eye pressure kept going up, even though he was giving me more drops to bring it down. Last Friday the pressure was up to 41. I went back yesterday and he had told me if the pressure hadn't come down that I would be seeing a retina surgeon today. Praise God, the pressure came back down to 18, normal. And my vision is now 20/30. Yay! Now I can look forward to the other eye.
