I heard a tale that if you cannot sleep or slept very little, but lie in bed 1/2 awake 1/2 asleep, it's because your soul was 'fighting' (darkness).

If this is true I have been fighting them for 40 plus years I have almost never slept more than 1 or 2 consecutive hours since I was a child
