On April 12, Motions for Preliminary Injunctions against the Illinois "Assault Weapon" ban were heard in the Southern District Court of Judge Stephen McGlynn. Our side came away confident that we have a MUCH stronger case than does the State, and we expect a ruling from Judge McGlynn staying, or preventing the State from, enforcing of this law, resetting the calendar to January 9,2023.
