Have a buzzing in my ears for the last 30 years.not only have I thought cicadas but they only here in august also.and I have thought more about electric power lines. Maybe has something to do with resonance and vibration.🤷‍♀️

I will say I understand how people are affected by the 5G crap and directed energy attacks.

Months back, I mentioned the "NEW" very intrusive tones were in comparison to Cicadas. I was fortunate to find others experiencing the same tones.
The inner tones/sounds were louder & extremely intrusive. I have lived with inner tones/sounds since a youngster. I remember going to the ear doctor, earphones and tone generator played the frequencies...I was 7.

Thank you for your response. I know others experience the 'noise'. I worked for years in manufacturing shops that were loud and I thought perhaps the noise was due to hearing loss...

It's not hearing loss, per say. But it does interfere with my meditation time.

We do not have cicadas but for about a month in Summer.

No. But there is still a tone in Winter. I think I finally found a tuning fork close to the sound!
