Christians in America are not the equivalent of our evil government. Of course the persecution of God's people is horrible and has been for two millenia. The nations (read none believers) killed our Lord and martyred untold and we can expect no different. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
