@administrator I saw an similar post so I’m doing a follow up - In Dark Mode (with yellow custom option) I can type a new post because the text defaults to white on the dark screen.
BUT the small pop-up window for any REPLY defaults to light mode box (on iPhone) and so my yellow text isn’t visible for replies. I have done a few emoji only or short replies hoping for no errors since I can’t see it.

I’m experiencing the same on ipad. I switch to light mode so I can see what I type, then back to dark mode to ease eye strain from the light. It would be easier if switching wasn’t necessary. More often light is irritating.
