I’ve been hurt by animals in my life. I’ve been bruised. I’ve broken bones….but not one animal has ever hurt my feelings. That is way worse than physical pain. People can be so cruel. Some are just mean for sport and others may not even know they are saying hurtful things to others. God tells me to forgive but the hardest thing is forgetting. It takes a lot of prayer to be an “overcomer”. Jesus endured much worse and remembering that is enough. I’m thankful that God gave us animals on this earth. He knew there would be times when the wag of a dog’s tail or the nuzzles from a horse would bring comfort to us. Thank you God! 🕊
