I am against this too, thinking along the same lines that it's all part of the agenda - maybe to get us used to microchips. Am surprised they haven't staged an event/FF where a bunch of kids are snatched and they start pushing to chip children. Plus, lord knows what those chips contain! You're right though, how on earth could they enforce it? Will there be special 'dog' police going round scanning every pooch they see? I doubt it. Might be a problem at the vets though, if you had to take your dog in for something. I kind of see vets like doctors now, a trustworthy one would be a rare find.

Might be worth searching the net for like minded groups. I did find one on FB who were all for natural rearing of dogs (unvaxed basically, fed raw meat etc) as if I did get a pup, that is what I would be looking for. I did pose the question about chips and the responses were mixed. Arnica for animals I think the group is called, they might know some helpful vets or homeopathic ones. Probably loads of other groups out there.
