So far my immediate take away is no matter how simple, direct or brief the question is, the reply is lengthy to the point of being verbose. Makes me think that professors & politicians who like their own voices programmed this. It's too diplomatic, almost condescending. I think I'll ask Dan your same questions & see what happens.
