The "virus" that I know anything about is Shingles. Caused by herpes virus, chicken pox. A frend had bouts with Shingles back in 2005-ish. We found an article about a university research that showed L-lysine could kept Shingles dormant. L-lysine / arginine balance is alkaline/acid balance. The article has since disappeared. But I found this today ... the 1st line says it all -> "Alpha (α)-herpesviruses (HSV-1 and HSV-2), like other viruses, are obligate intracellular parasites"
