I hope all of you here had a beautiful day! Today was my mom and I's Birthday. I always get a bit sad around this time as she is no longer here. It's been a good day. I turned a year older but it doesn't feel like it because all of last year I thought I was the age I just turned today. I have made it 20 nights without drinking! A personal record and one that I wouldn't have achieved if not for many of you! I am very thankful for everyone here on AU! You guys have provided me with prayer when I needed it, advice and encouragement. My year has been better and brighter because of all of you!

I quit drinking 3yrs ago just before Covid hit... I know God had his hand in it, because what a time to quit right?? There are many of us on AU that are or have gone through this. I remember being a little lost, ( alot lost) but if I became anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed I seriously out loud (that is important to speak it) "God here is _____ only you can take it away" Celebrate and be proud of 20days, Happy Birthday!!!
