So then shouldn't it be called a gree instead of a degree? As in he is working on his master's gree and not master's degree. Sounds wrong but is that the sort of thing that was done to devalue a person without the person even kmowing?

no, they are doing EXACTLY what that word means today.
They are removing knowledge by teaching their own works.
They are devaluing the true knowledge and knowingly doing so.
Remember, they played the long game to deceive.
They warp the truth. All institutions that are on Earth today have been infiltrated.
And they gain our trust by taking a little bit of truth, just enough so it adds up and it makes sense, and then they put THEIR spin on it.
The worst of the institutions are our science and medicine and Education institution.
When you go through the system and get your "degree" you are being taught to accept and practice in our society their teachings....which is not the whole truth. Bonus: they use their symbolism as their mascot.
