An ANONUP CHRISTMAS STORY
In the animal world there was a curious and terrifying rumor : 2023 would be the LAST year ... and 2024 would not come again. The rumor spread through the worms under the ground, through the lions and the aardvarks above the ground, through the homing pigeons in the air and through the kraken in the seawater. Panic was the great feeling of the last months of 2022... that special year when everything seemed to be reversed. A mouse managed to tell that a separation of timelines was coming. No one understood that…
At the initiative of a Red Panda, the wise council of Animals met on a great plain in the beautiful land. To curb the panic, it was necessary that something be done to dispel the fear and reunite all the animals on earth. She called this Dark to Light project. And so the wise animal council, chaired by the Red Panda, sat meeting under a huge tree on that plain.

.So many ideas were put forward, but someone everywhere will have an objection, so the idea was rejected. Then a little sparrow chirped: “Christmas”…when the light overcomes the dark…the Divine Light that may shine again on earth. All the animals cheered, for this was to be it… a last Christmas on Earth… a last time the warmth of light and togetherness. The turkey swallowed…
It was decided that a festival ground would be set up in the south of that great country and that messenger animals would go out into the wide world to invite all the animals on earth to this final festival... 2023 would be the last year, wouldn't it? It was also decided not to invite the Great Fire-breathing Dragon, who lived somewhere in the east of the earth. A nasty dragon and way too dangerous…
And so all preparations were made for this huge Christmas party. All carrier pigeons that were there were sent out to invite all animals. Everyone was looking forward to it!!

But what no animal except the Penguins had thought of was that it was winter in the northern parts of the earth and it was going to be a freakishly cold winter. From a very distant and remote Island with a Big Mountain inhabited by tens of thousands of Frogs came the disturbing report that all the open waters of that island were frozen over and the frogs were trapped in pools of lukewarm water coming from a spring. In order to get to the Christmas party on the mainland, there had to be some kind of path of molten water so that they could swim and reach the mainland.
No one wanted a Christmas party without the frogs... no one... so a clever plan had to rage. The Red Panda was again the one who came up with an idea. He proposed to invite the Great Fire-Breathing Dragon, but on the condition that it would first melt the ice of that Island of the Frogs with its fire so that they could come too. Everyone trusted in this beautiful plan.

Everywhere you heard: Trust The Plan!
That same day, a carrier pigeon was sent out to the east… with a message from the Red Panda and a laurel sprig to make peace with the dragon.
After 3 days of flying, the pigeon came to the dragon's lair ... which was sleeping. The dove pecked at a nose hair and the dragon looked at the little dove. He gave the note with the request and the laurel sprig. A tear welled up in the dragon's eyes, and a sulphurous smell came out of its mouth. The dragon never thought that he would once again really be allowed to be included in the animal world. He promised to fly directly to the remote island of the frogs and melt the ice there.
Five minutes later the dragon flew, in a trail of smoke, to the north where the frog island lay.
