my husband received a check in the mail from Regency
for medical equipment
which = his oxygen tank.
but what i dont understand is the insurance company has been paying it all year.
so why would Regency give us a check for my husband to cash
shouldn't they just make an insurance adjustment somewhere 🤔

Well I know what I would do. I would cash in the cheque ans withdrawal the money, i would keep the money in an envelope at home, if anyone disputes the money or a letter then comes in relating to it, then you have the cash on hand to refund, but my guess is that you will be able to keep it.
If you don't hear from anyone within a month then you will be able to use the money that your husband may need.
