months ago i had asked anonup admin in a post why they chose to use the swirl symbol on the background of direct messages, i got no reply, just thought in the grand sceme of things it odd to use this symbol, whats your thoughts Anons?

That symbol was everywhere before the FBI hijacked it and turned it into a pedo symbol.

fbi hijacked it at least 8 years ago, and the connotation behind the symbol was well known before Anonup started in jan 2021, jist thought it weird that out of all the symbols that they could have chose, they chose to use that one.

I get what you are saying but you need to remember that symbol has been around for ages and was always part of freeware image sets web developers use.
