Doesn’t the word amnesty describe receiving a pardon for a crime that has been committed?
I was kicked off Twitter three times but I did not commit a crime. Therefore I do not require amnesty.
Why did he use that word?
Am I overthinking this?
Anyone?

Twitter did treat us as Criminals for daring to speak conservative ,or truth, or MAGA, Twitter would never give us a pardon or amnesty.
so i think its an Elon troll remark against the harshness that was old Twitter. IMHO. Its kinda funny..to be let out of Twitter Prison, for Not committing a crime.

yeah, it seems exaggerated to me, too, but maybe there is deeper meaning.
