Of course I can't explain it with 100% certainty, but as a photographer/videographer I know (and sometimes use it) that there are digital options in Adobe Photoshop, for example, to omit still or moving parts in the images. The software does this automatically. With photos, for example, you take several photos from a tripod of, for example, an intersection in a city. The software then deletes all marked parts ... The result is e.g. a completely empty intersection ..
