said goodbye to my mom yesterday. I pray God takes her peacefully soon . Many years of Alzheimer’s have been a hard thing to watch .

So sorry you have to go through this! Alzheimer’s, or any form of dementia, is a cruel disease. Both my parents and 5 of my siblings have died with it, and one sister is still living with it. You die inside just a little bit each time you see them.
