A lawyer told me once, "It doesn't matter what the Law is, the judge can decide on his own, regardless of what the Law states."
I asked, "If the law doesn't matter & you can make it up as you go along, why did you go to Law School?"
Lawyers primarily study "Precedent" now, that's studying what judges have ruled, often regardless of what's codified in Law, IOW, legislating from the bench. That makes us a nation outside the Law: Lawless. Ruled by Whim of Man, not Rule of Law.

I can do better. I have in my hands from the City & Cty of Denver, paperwork on their nuisance abatement law, which is 100% unconstitutional. It states right on it, that innocence is not a defense. Nobody being charged with a crime is not a defense. Then they arbitrarily hold your vehicle for 8 weeks, when the search was done within a week. (or 2). That is how they steal $1600.00 from you. A class action lawsuit needs to be filed against them on behalf of all the people they have stolen money & property from. Any lawyers no longer with allegiance to Britain need to contact me.
