Visited my 80 plus year old parents today to make sure they are going to watch Trump’s announcement tonight. My dad’s response: “Yes, but I already know what he is going to say. He’s going to announce he’s not running again in 2024 but planning to endorse DeSantis”!!! Dumbfounded, I just look at him and screech, “You’re kidding me right? All these years of me explaining to you what is actually happening and you think this?” He replies (as Fox News is playing in the bavkground 24/7 in their house), “ I know you want to believe Trump still has support, but there aren’t enough Americans supporting him anymore. DeSantis does”. I HAVE FAILED AS A GOOD ANON DAUGHTER! 🤦🏼‍♀️😢 Spent next hour re-educating them again. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
