It is pouring non-stop outside in central Florida. Tropical Storm Nicole has not even toally hit us yet, but we expect it in the morning to have over 50 mph winds and torrential rain.
My roof is leaking like a sieve in one spot in a bedroom. I have a huge bucket catching the water.
My roof is only 4 years old and I could not get anyone to help us faster because Hurricane Ian caused the damage and we have had to wait for a roof inspection to get an estimate for repair. I was happy it did not rain much since the hurricane, and I was hoping the mess would at least dry out. It did dry out, but now we have Nicole making landfall.
Looks like its gonna be a long night.

Heavenly Father,
Please protect our friend and keep Florida safe.
Our friend is needing your help Lord. Be with those who are in this storm who may need shelter and their shelter protected. May they find peace and calm in the storm and know You are with them.
Please let the night bring them rest so they can recover tomorrow.
Fortify the roof and home and protect our friend from harm.
Fortify our friends in Florida with all that they may need.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

we got almost 5 inches of rain last night. I emptied an industrial sized bucket 3 times. My mango tree is down again, and I had to go outside and chase small items that are being blown from yard to yard from neighbors decorations.
Then I found water on the ledges in a front room, so the water is being blown in under the windows from high winds.
But the bedroom leak is the worst. I just need to get through the day.
Thank you so much for your prayers. They are keeping me a lot calmer and I have asked God to help everyone in the storm.

I am glad you are okay this morning and hang in there. You are literally going through multiple storms. You are doing great and I will continue praying for you and Florida and everyone's personal storms.
