A Canadian friend of mine is so good at knapping/flinting and making arrowheads that Inuits come to him to learn the art. Pretty cool ๐Heโs made several arrowheads for me.
A great location for finding arrowheads and large amounts of obsidian material is the Eastern Sierras/Owens Valley โฆ not that I have ever found any ๐ณ๐
The obsidian from Owens Valley went all over Native North America in trading from tribe to tribe.
