Those are great tips but also if your pipes do freeze open your cold water tub tap on so that when it unthaws in the pipe it won't burst in a wall etc. Instead it will blast through the open pipe in the bathtub. We are going to be -35 and colder over the next few days in Sask., Canada. I have always run the cold water tap at a slow drip to keep the lines moving. Very good tip for tenants with hot water heating, people who live in trailers too.
