My husband got the jab because his doc said he should because of his COPD. He was one of the first to get the jab and got his second. His was the first one avaialble and he had his second one also. I chose not to get any because of the research I did on all of them. Background for both of us: we served in the Peace Corps 1972-74 in both Brazil and the Philippines. We actually had lots of shots after we arrived in Brazil. Experimental rabies vaccine as well. And we received a GG, Gamoglobulan, shot every 6 months while in country. Some of these may be why my husband is still going strong and me, I'm not a sickly kind of gal. He's 74 and I'm 73.
