Just sharing thoughts:
This was prophesied as a curse upon the children of Israel for failure to keep God's Commandments. The curse would be upon their descendants, even today. They would be scattered around the world, cursed in the cities and the fields, become bywords, and no man shall save them... Only the Messiah can save them.

But there is even something more here than just blessings and curses. Reading Deuteronomy 28:15-68 very closely and with great thought has led many to offer the identity of the true people of Israel; the people that fit the curse. Keep in mind that Egypt=bondage.

Israel must repent? Leviticus 26: 40-46
Deuteronomy 30:1-4
Ezekiel 11:16-20

Is Hebrew the true language of the so called "African Americans"? Were they banned from Israel by the Romans?

Saving Israel for last. Reason not yet given.
