But today there is/was something to see that you will only see again in 59 years.
Every 59 years Jupiter comes closest to Earth and today it is again after 1963.
Jupiter the "Lucky Planet" has its perihelion to Earth today, which means that it will not be so close for the next 59 years.
By its gravity the gas giant attracts nearly all asteroids from the Kuiper Belt, which begins behind Uranus and so its position as Lucky Planet is quite justified.
Indeed, some luck would be very welcome in the present situation of being human.
And whoever was kissed by Fortuna today now knows why ;-)
