Yes this sign became a symbol of Native Hawaiian resistance to the telescopes on Maunakea, still her doing this in front of the Capitol creates the ambiguity that she often uses. The photo of her with antifa is representative of her politics. She isn’t Native Hawaiian but many outside of Hawaii assume she is.

While i totally doubt her credibility as well..... this photo was actually a gesture that was being used across hawaii for the protests at mauna kea. A large percetage of my friends took photos just like this🤙
