I am in the exact same situation. My siblings and my husband think I am crazy. They all are still asleep. As soon as this shit show is over, I am stepping aside and filing for divorce. I live in Wilmington, but frequent Blowing Rock and Asheville. I was in BR for 5 days at Labor Day and in Asheville at the KOA Swannanoa for 5 days 2 weeks ago. My heart aches for your areas as they are both dear to my heart. Help is coming, Many people in my area and across the state are making multiple trips bringing lots of donated supplies and food. I could not agree more. My family and I are very distant now. My husband is still asleep as well. Thank God I saved by teenage son from getting the jab. I'm planning on charting a new course when this war is over. It is hard to convince someone they have been lied to and brainwashed when they have been lied to and brainwashed. Yes! Our day will come! I think the WH thought we could wake more people up quickly. I think it has taken longer than they even realized. I have been awake since March 19 2020 when my employer sent everyone home to work remotely for 2 weeks. My critical thinking skills kicked in and I started digging and haven't stopped digging. My husband is asleep, took the jab, wants me to take the jab. Everytime I sneeze, he thinks I have covid. Most of my family has the vaccine and boosters (except my son, I have forbidden him and fortunately his friends don't want to take it either). My husband thinks that because he watches FOX news that he is informed. Calls me crazy. He is a news junky. I would rather be alone - just can't afford it right now with inflation. I am hanging on praying for better days - and redemption. I trust God and I trust Trump and I love this AU platform. Not sure what I would do without it and everyone here.
