Here’s something nobody wants to talk about.
Since we’re on the topic of Barack Obama, I can’t help but notice something.
The media is spending more time covering a monkey story right now than they ever did covering the death of Tafari Campbell — President Obama’s personal chef — who drowned near Martha’s Vineyard in 2023.
Back then, it was a quick headline, an official ruling, and everyone moved on.
No round-the-clock coverage.
No national outrage cycle.
No endless questions.
A Black man died.
And many of the same voices who say they care deeply about Black issues seemed to have very little to say about that.
Just interesting what gets attention… and what doesn’t.
