Just my 2 cents-ppl r asking when did the disrespect of the flag start in schools. Well I went to elementary school in Orange County, CA in the 70's. In 3rd grade, our assignment was write a paper on going back in time and spending the day with someone we admired. The teacher went around the room and asked us who we were going to write about. When she came to me, I said Jesus. She quickly told me I couldnt write about someone that didnt really exist. I believe CA has been at the front lines of the degradation of our society for many more years than that-just like they are on the front lines of trying to kill America the Great now. I think like a cancer this craziness has spread across the rest of the country. Its not just about respecting our flag, I believe it is about disrespecting EVERYTHING we stood and stand for as a country under God.

I went to vote a few days ago and my ballot had my maiden name on it in brackets off to the side of my married name. I thought it odd because I dont remember ever seeing my maiden name on my ballot before and I have not even used my maiden name in over 30 years. I was just wondering if I am nutz (good possibility...lol) or if anyone else noticed this as well...sry for the confusion on my first post.

Just my 2 cents- I have been taking time and really thinking about everything that is going on. First, this is NOT a fight between right and left-its between good and evil. Second, what if, we are suppose to learn to love through all of this. I dont mean like lover love but love for your brother and or neighbor. Dropping our ego and finding the love, patience, and acceptance for other ppl that we have for ourselves. Jesus said the greatest commandment is love. Love seems simple but it really is not. I try to love other ppl but I find myself many times falling short in that department. I am going to ponder this more and do alot of praying because above all else I want my Heavenly Father to be happy to call me His child.
