Chickens are also fascinating to just sit and watch, LOL! You can easily just sit and watch for an hour and not get bored - no idea why, they are just mesmerizing.

Some eggs are just not fertilized or the embry dies right away. You'll know the difference as the yolk remains yellowish for about 2 weeks, then turns darker over time but no blood vessels.

Ducks are fun but they are a very messy creature! And, be cautious with growing and adult ducks as they will literally shred your arms, your face, your belly with their claws. I finally got rid of our ducks a few years ago. It was way too much work and a literal bloody sacrifice to care for them - picking one up even when doing it correctly can cause a lot of injury.

Never keep just one poultry either, they need another for company and for warmth and protection. Minimum of two, always.

Also, make sure they have a deep water dish they can stick their whole head in once they are a few weeks old - they must have water deep enough to stick their head in so they can clean their eyes and especially their nostrils. They can die without cleaning their nostrils.

Animals do this all the time, especially baby bunnies (we raise meat rabbits among other things). Baby rabbits are born without gut bacteria and they nibble on poop their mom leaves in the nesting area - that jump starts the gut flora in the baby bunnies. If they don't get this within the first 2-ish weeks of life, they often die or are very sickly.

Sick animals, especially ruminants, will nibble on others' poop too, same reason, get the gut flora going again.

Our gut is absolutely amazing - we eat food and our digestive track breaks it into a goo, and from the goo our gut absorbs what it needs to for us to survive. But - there are billions and billions of bacteria that allows this exchange to happen and keep our gut healthy. If we don't have those, we can literally die...

Long time homesteader here. If you started these at the same time, they should all have blood vessels showing at the same time. No blood vessels means dud eggs. Keep them in for another week but then remove them.

Quail are fun to incubate, they hatch at about 16 days and start laying eggs at about 8 weeks. Faster hatching and layer critter out there ;)

Why isn't the jail giving her shampoo and toothpaste, etc? Isn't that required? It is here in CA - if they want more than the basics they need the commisary money.

Absolutely agree with you. And in all honesty, as a Christian, I don't expect anything to get better. I expect things to get a lot worse. How fast that happens is the question. It feels like we are at the outer edges of a whirlpool and we are slowly moving towards that inevitable center where we go down the drain forever.

There are big machines that do this. They grab the tree in two places, and the machine saws thru the trunk and they pull the tree off to the side. I think that's what is happening here, but the machines are in the back behind the road - they are probably clearing them because they want them away from the road and wires.

I live in the PNW and we are always having trees removed. If they are on the roadside it is men with chainsaws, if it is a little farther back it is the big equipment - they clear entire mountain sides too.

Yes, I watched. And I watched similar videos in 2020 using the same video clips. Someone out there is reusing the same video files and just altering things so they fit into newer situations - that's what I'm stating here. Not that they are not real.

There are worse videos, which I have also seen. Those were leaked in 2020 and have never resurfaced, they are too horrific to have flowing around - they were found on the dark web and shared for a bit, then shut down.

Don't get so defensive - you found something you wanted to share. Yes the video clips are legit, but what I'm saying is someone has used the clips and these poor kids to create lies about where these children were found. Ukraine - yes, but also Netherlands and many other places including ships heading to China.

With all that has happened in the past few years - people are clinging to what they were told and believed, it's their only comfort. If they look at reality, they simply can't handle it. As much as I want more people to wake up, the elderly have my heart in many ways - because it is just TOO big to take in for them. They are too old, too tired, too confused, too everything to make that shift easily...

When I was a nursing student, we had a rotation thru an old folks home. Broke my heart. Many were senile and lived in a world that made them happy - some still thought they were getting up to milk cows, or cook a big breakfast for a farm crew and family, some still thought they rocked a baby instead of a pillow, etc. They were happy. The care center wanted us to reorient them - force them to realize reality, and it made the elderly SO SAD for no reason.

I've never forgotten that.

There is nothing on the label that gives it away - how can you tell? The 4 digit numbers, if they start with 4 means it is conventionally grown...can start with a 3 or 4. Five digit numbers starting with a 9 means organic, and if they start with an 8 they are GMO.

I've been waiting for the veggies and fruits to come out that have mRNA in them...Gates has been crowing about that for over a year. I don't think people voted for this. The fraud just continues on. I come from Los Angeles, and I know it was a waste of time to vote down there. C-PTSD keeps me and my adult children (I have 7 of 8 at home with me, 5 have autism) from church. Churches are not kind places, have too many rules and expect to get paid a chunk of whatever small amount you have - I would rather tithe in other ways. When I got married 36 years ago, my husband changed the day after the wedding. He refused to allow me to go to church (I grew up similar to Amish, very tight knit church family) and kept me and our children as they came along, very very isolated. Not allowed to have friends or family or church or homeschool groups. He went with us to every medical appointment to make sure no one said anything to alert medical staff.

God still blessed me and my children in many different ways - even thru all that abuse, violence and extreme anger. Your relationship is based on YOU and GOD, not on a church building, a church family or a pastor in your life.

They have plans to put it in veggies too on a cellular level - the watery ones like lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. And in meat too (and eggs). They are already DOING IT in the UK, Gates has been over there and been photo op'd with livestock already injected with the mRNA vaccines for animals.

I spoke with my vet last week - she said all the vaccines except the rabies vaccine have been overhauled. When I said I would refuse any mRNA vaccines, she stopped asking if we wanted our cat vaxxed that day, she simply STOPPED pushing it and never mentioned it again. So it is already here - she didn't push for the rabies vax either, we left without any vaccines. So don't trust that even the rabies vax is still safe for animals :(

Talk to her just like you normally would do - I've lost my little sister with Downs, a brother, both my parents. I talk to them like they are still here, and in my soul I know they hear me and love me, and are just waiting for my turn to cross over into heaven. But they tell me 'not yet' because my work here isn't done.

Just keep loving her. Love never dies - it just changes. We don't love less because someone isn't here anymore, I think instead we realize the depth of that love because we feel the pain so deeply.

I was at the vet yesterday, they wanted to 'update' one of our cat's vaccine status. I asked if the new mRNA vaccines were here, that Europe already has them. She said she didn't know. She thinks the rabies vaccine is still the 'old one' but the other vaccines have been updated. She said she would try and find out. We left without vaccines.

She had already heard this many times before and was almost rolling her eyes with "not again".

The problem is, rabies vaccines are required by law...no one can simply ignore that. Animal control will come door to door wanting proof that your animal has been vaccinated. You can buy all other vaccines at feed stores or order online, but vets are required by law to give the rabies vax. How do we get out of this one???
