Organic Ingredients:
Olive oil: 1/4 cup
Onion (diced): 1 medium
Leek (sliced, white and light green parts): 1 large
Carrots (sliced): 3 large
Celery (sliced): 3 stalks
Garlic (chopped): 3 cloves
Turmeric: 1 tsp
Poultry seasoning: 1 tsp
Chicken broth: 6 cups
Coconut milk: 13.5 oz can
Chicken (boneless, skinless): 1 1/4 pounds
Frozen peas: 10 oz (optional)
Fresh parsley (chopped): 1/4 cup
Sea Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Sautéed onions, leeks, carrots, celery, and salt in olive oil until softened.
Add garlic, turmeric, and poultry seasoning; cook until fragrant.
Pour in broth, add chicken, and simmer until chicken is cooked.
Shred chicken, return to pot with peas and parsley, and heat through.
Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and serve

There is no gas, no eggs, no water, and lots of downed trees, but give it a day or 2 for initial cleanup and for gas stations and groceries stores to get deliveries in central Florida.

Some good news

Hi Patriots,

After the storm in central Florida in my area: We have electric, but most people do not, but my home is on a hospital line so it is usually the last to go in a storm. My neighbor said they watched the storm and saw 4-5 transformers blow out one by one. Most people have no electric in downtown Orlando where some of my family lives, but they are relatively OK because they have a generator.

A daughter lives in Volusia and she stayed with me but went home today and her home is one of the few that is not flooded on her street. She called and cried when she saw she was OK because she thought she would be homeless from flooding, so God was good to her and her family.

Lots of homes in Daytona are flooded with 2 feet of water in their houses. A family member in a 55 and up neighborhood is flooded and everyone is trapped in their home, but no water in the house, so they will stay put until it drains.
