Had dinner the other night with a 16-year former state legislator. He knew my former representative Larry P. McDonald, nephew of General Patton. He was one of the most conservative representatives ever.

Now we all know what he was warning us about.

Real unconditional (agape) love is all that matters. I’m learning to love better myself which means to not judge as well. Something may not be our belief or what we hold to be truth, but we can just love them anyways. This has been my News Years pursuit with my very liberal, Trump hating extended family and including my oldest daughter.

We're going to have some fun today Truth seeker. I took a couple of weeks of quiet to drown out all of the chatter because I found myself losing my sense of humor. I needed to reflect on where I've been, where I am, and where I'm going. Hopefully the perspective I gleaned while I was away might be of some use to you. I am going to pack my son some lunch now, fix him some breakfast, see him off to school, and then we'll enjoy some ruminating.
